In this paper the flow pulsation of the pump and the pump body burst failure to carry out the research, and obtained some research results. Paper first starts with the basic theory, the formula of flow pulsation of external gear pump is derived, the gear pump flow pulsation theoretically under the influence of which parameters as well as the relationship between these parameters. Then using FLUENT fluid analysis software, based on dynamic grid, on the basis of the internal flow field of the gear pump are analyzed in numerical simulation, get the internal gear pump pressure field and velocity field, the analysis of the internal gear pump leak and trapped oil phenomenon, through the simulation test under different rotational speed, the gear pump.
